The point of an outdoor heater is not warmth in the abstract — it is whether you sit outside in October or go back indoors. Infrared heats people and surfaces directly rather than warming the air, so it still works where a convection heater would simply lose its heat to the breeze.
The heater is built into its own bistro table, so it doubles as the table. Being electric, there is no propane to run out mid-evening and nothing to store in a garage.
